TURNBULL has the only patented seat back life preserver stowage. The life preserver is readily accessible to passengers in case of emergency by simply pulling up the back cover. An additional safety feature allows the seat to flip up which clears the aisles for safe and easy access.

Fireloading is a design consideration for owners, operators and manufacturers of fast ferries. TURNBULL gives great attention to reduction of combustible materials lowering the potential levels of flame, smoke and toxicity.

The Series 400 Clam Shell is designed for expremely weight sensitive applications and also includes easy to access life preserver stowage. The aluminum construction has a product weight of 18-21 lbs. per passenger and an estimated fire load of 30 oz. (bench), 25 oz. per passenger (back to back).
